This Ferrari has an front V12 engine with an maximum speed of 323 km/h. Beautiful curves and nice a beautiful interior. It's not the best or most recent Ferrari but will give you a huge thrill. Why? Because it costs €70,000 if you search right, and maintenance average is lower than the 612. Biggest maintenance post is that the car eats tyres for breakfast.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
It has an engine providing 533HP, a maximum speed of 315 km/h. It's biggest feature that sets it apart: it has four seats. It's still not a family car though, it will cost you €300,000 to purchase and if used as an everyday car about €10,000 per year to maintain.
The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is the perfect vehicle in the Maranello sports car stable for the gentleman driver. The Gran Turismo is already a very noble means of travel as standard equipment, however particularly optically it can still stand some flashier details. Therefore a modification of the body stood at the top of the Hamann engineers' to-do list. But the refiners from Laupheim didn't neglect sound and handling either.

Ferrari Enzo
A car is really good if Ferrari names it after its founder Enzo Ferrari. The Enzo FXX is a project still going, with the car getting updates still. The Enzo FXX is sold only when you're chosen by Ferrari and changes owner for about €1,300,0000. Maintenance is huge, about €40,000 per year. But everyone will look at you when you drive one, guaranteed. And when it's dark out... I dare you to take it out for a spin.

Formula One - Who Will Be the Ferrari Team of 2010?
2009 has been a disappointing season for Ferrari so far. Kimi Raikkonen's win at the Belgian Grand Prix aside, the team has not been competitive with most of the honors going to Brawn and Red Bull.
However, there has been great speculation about Ferrari's drivers for next season. Let's take a look at some of the candidates:
Fernando Alonso - There has been whispers of Alonso joining Ferrari ever since his unhappy spell at McLaren in 2007 and it's no surprise why. World champion in 2005 and 2006, Alonso will be itching to get back into contention for the championship race and Ferrari provides the perfect platform to do so.
Giancarlo Fisichella - Fisichella has been with Formula One since 1997, but has stayed away from the limelight for the most part. However, in one of the greatest surprises of 2009 so far, he took pole position in the Belgian GP, eventually finishing 2nd behind Kimi Raikkonen, Force India's best ever position. In sensational news, Fisichella has transferred to Ferrari and will take the place of Luca Badoer for the rest of the season, beginning with the Italian GP, his home race. There has been talk that Fisichella's contract extends beyond 2009, which makes his participation in 2010 very likely.
Felipe Massa - Massa came so close to winning the championship last season, losing out to Lewis Hamilton by a single point. Many fans, including myself, believed that 2009 would be Massa's year. However, a poor start by Ferrari soon made it clear that it was not to be. After the unfortunate accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix where Massa was seriously injured by a suspension spring from Rubens Barrichichello's Brawn while both vehicles were in full flight, Massa is expected to make a full recovery and it is unlikely that Ferrari will drop him for next season. The Brazilian should be able to make his fairy tale comeback in the Ferrari team next year.
Kimi Raikkonen - Before Massa's horrific injury, it was 50-50 if it would be Raikkonen or Massa giving up their seats, or maybe even both. But the Finn's position looks the most in threat now as Ferrari might feel honor bound to Massa to give him back his place upon his return. However, Raikkonen is a former world champion and his win in the Belgian GP shows that he's still a force to be reckoned with, if he can be sufficiently motivated.
Michael Schumacher - Schumacher is a Formula One legend who was scheduled to replace Massa for the rest of 2009. However, a neck injury put paid to that plan. There remains a possibility of Schumacher competing in 2010 as news of his return generated enormous publicity, something that Formula One needs right now to pull them through difficult times.

Ferrari continue to dominate F1
2005 would see the FIA once again react to Ferrari domination and decided that one tyre would be used for the whole race. This played directly into the hands of Ferrari's rivals on Michelin tyre's who reaped the benefits of the French companies endurance experience. It was a dismal year for Ferrari with only 1 race win coming in the USA when the Michelin teams pulled out due to safety issues. The shining light was however Michael Schumacher who showed he had lost none of his skills when dealing with a lesser package and he drove the wheels of the car all season long.
In 2006 things somewhat returned to normal, tyre changes were once again allowed and Ferrari were back to fighting for the titles. It was Schumacher v Alonso in the Renault who battled to the last race for the title before Alonso eventually won out. In a season with constant twists and turns it was also sadly the final season in F1 for Michael Schumacher who announced he would be retiring from the sport. Schumacher took the title battle to the final race in Brazil but a problem in qualifying left him with little chance of securing the title, but he left Ferrari and his fans with a drive to remember and also left many wondering just why he was retiring.

Constructors' titles: 16

The Emblem
"The story of the prancing horse is simple and fascinating. The horse was painted on the fuselage of the fighter plane flown by Francesco Baracca, a heroic Italian pilot who died on Mount Montello: the Italian ace of aces of the First World War. In 1923, when I won the first Savio circuit, which was run in Ravenna, I met Count Enrico Baracca, the pilot's father, and subsequently his mother, Countess Paolina. One day she said to me, "Ferrari, why don't you put my son's prancing horse on your cars; it would bring you luck." I still have Baracca's photograph with the dedication by his parents, in which they entrusted the emblem to me. The horse was black and has remained so; I added the canary yellow background because it is the colour of Modena." - Enzo Ferrari

TheDreamTeam
Ferrari would shuffle their management once again for 2008, with Stefano Domenicali leading the team on yet another title hunt. Ultimately the job was done as Ferrari secured their 16th Constructor's title with relative ease ahead of bitter rivals McLaren. However the season was not filled with perfection, with many mistakes littering the season, the pitstop traffic light system was ditched after it cost Felipe Massa a win in Singapore, split second decisions on the pit wall that always seemed to go right for Ferrari this year turned out to go wrong. However the title for the team was secured but with Felipe Massa missing out on the driver's title by 1 point it is surely with some regret that Ferrari look back on 2008. But the team will be ready to tackle the challenges of 2009.

Ferrari however took victory in the constructor's championship
In 1999 a Schumacher driver's title looked on the cards until a leg breaking accident at Silverstone ruled him out of the title battle, it was left to Eddie Irvine to take the fight to Hakkinen and fight he did, the title again went to the final race of the season but not even the return of Michael Schumacher could prevent Hakkinen taking the crown once again, Ferrari however took victory in the constructor's championship.

Istituto Professionale per l'Industria e l'Artigianato
Enzo Ferrari died in Modena on August 14 1988. After the death of Enzo Ferrari, Scuderia Ferrari struggled to come to terms with the loss of its founder. The team was dragged down with internal politics marring the performances on the track. Despite a good run with Mansell and Prost the team soon became un-competitive. The turning point for Ferrari was the signing of the current world champion Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn in 1996, since then the team has re-found it's racing history and are now back at the front of the grid.

Scuderia Ferrari were founded in Modeno in 1929
During World War II in 1943 the Ferrari workshop moved base from Modeno to Maranello and began to produce grinding machines for ball bearings. The workshop had to be rebuilt in 1946 after being bombed during the war, this was also the year that the company started to design and build the first Ferrari. In 1960 the business was turned into a joint stock company in which Fiat became a 50-50 partner in 1969.
